Come unwind your body and uplift your spirit
in this 2.5hr workshop, easing the transition from Summer to Autumn by
expelling excess heat and moisture in the body.
Through various restorative postures and breathing
techniques, we will
boost our immune systems, and prepare our digestive systems for the
warm, nourishing foods of Autumn.
With the use of visualization and meditation, we will deeply restore equilibrium to our minds, bodies, & hearts.
Autumn is
descending upon our bodies like the natural world around us gradually
transitioning from peak energy to the restorative time of winter. The
bounty of summer is being harvested. The energy of the trees & plants are
starting their descent underground into the roots.
It is
time to shift our bodies and minds inward as the days become shorter, and lower
levels of light and energy are available to us. Take the time to gently draw
inward, gathering all of your mental and physical strength for the winter
ahead.
